David J. Krajicek has been telling crime stories for more than 30 years, as an author and a newspaperman. He was an investigative reporter for the New York Daily News for a decade during the 1980s. He left the Daily News to worked as a Columbia University journalism professor during the 1990s but was soon drawn back to his true muse: writing murder stories. Since 1999, he has been writing The Justice Story, a weekly historical true crime feature that has been running in the New York Daily News for nearly a century. He has spent 25 years singing and playing trombone in The Blues Maneuver, a New York-based R&B band. He lives in the Catskill Mountains of New York and on the Gulf Coast.
